Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using SortCopy ("the Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Application.

Description of Service

SortCopy is a clipboard management application for Windows that:

• Automatically captures and organizes clipboard history
• Categorizes copied content (code, links, emails, colors, etc.)
• Provides quick search and retrieval of clipboard items
• Allows creation and management of text snippets
• Operates entirely on your local machine

License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Download and install SortCopy on compatible Windows devices
• Use the Application for personal or commercial purposes
• Create and manage clipboard data and snippets

This license does not include the right to:

• Modify, reverse engineer, or decompile the Application
• Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the Application
• Use the Application for any unlawful purpose
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Ensuring your use complies with applicable laws and regulations
• The security of your device and any data stored by the Application
• Not using the Application to copy, store, or manage illegal content
• Keeping your operating system and the Application updated

Beta Program

SortCopy is currently in beta. By joining the beta program:

• You acknowledge the software may contain bugs or incomplete features
• You agree to provide feedback to help improve the Application
• You understand that beta features may change or be removed
• You accept that the beta period pricing may differ from final pricing

Intellectual Property

The Application and its original content (excluding user data), features, and functionality are owned by SortCopy and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your clipboard data and snippets remain your property. We claim no ownership over any content you copy or create within the Application.

Disclaimer of Warranties

We do not warrant that the Application will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. You use the Application at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SortCopy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data or clipboard history
• Loss of profits or business interruption
• Damages arising from use or inability to use the Application
• Any unauthorized access to your data

Data Loss

While we strive to build reliable software, we cannot guarantee against data loss. We recommend regularly backing up important snippets and data. SortCopy is not responsible for any loss of clipboard history or snippets due to software bugs, system failures, or user actions.

Termination

You may terminate your use of the Application at any time by uninstalling it from your device. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the Application immediately, without prior notice, for:

• Breach of these Terms
• Conduct that we believe is harmful to other users or our interests
• Any reason at our sole discretion

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Application after any changes indicates your acceptance of the modified Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the Application shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation.
